Weather Data Collection

6th grade students are pictured here with their weather stations or anemometers that they designed and then used to collect weather data this month. Great work Mr. Jones and Mrs. Bove-Virr!

The "Matfus" Bus

Mrs. Matfus' bus took time out for a photo opportunity today while visiting the Nation's Capitol.

8th Graders Visit CT State Capitol

8th graders visited the CT State Capitol today as part of their study of government. They are seen here meeting with Senator Markley and Representative Sampson. (I apologize for the turned pictures-- they are coming in remotely from cell phones.)

Hale Visits Arlington

8th Graders Visit Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

On their first full day in Washington DC, 8th grade students visited Arlington Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Students were part of the wreath laying ceremony and toured the grounds at Arlington.

Weather Collection and Clouds

While outside completing the weather data collection unit two weeks ago, 6th grade students saw some amazing clouds outside Tyrrell Middle School.
