Bear Hugs for Hugs

The 8th grade teams participated in the American Cancer Society’s spring fundraiser and collected money for “Bear Hugs for Hope.” For every $25 collected, a Boyd’s Bear is bought and donated to a child fighting cancer. The Pearl and Onyx Teams raised $850.00, meaning they purchased 34 bears! Way to go! So proud of the giving spirit and kindness so many of our students displayed! Special recognition to the following students who were extra generous and, in many cases, bought their “own” bear with their donations: Ray B, Kayleigh B, Joe D, Emma G, Ryan F, Katelin D, Justin D, Emily D, Kayla M, Melisa T, Sara O, Nick C, Kelsey D, Juliana G, Brandon C, Justin F, Carrigan C and Michelina G. Our biggest supporter was Anthony D. Anthony contributed $100 and donated 4 bears!
