TEAM TYRRELL participated in and supported this year’s Wolcott Circle of Sports 5K Road Race. This was the 14th year of the race and this was the best one yet. We enjoyed a beautiful day, a great turn out, lots of food, a DJ, a Crossfit Challenge, and lots of sponsor booths. We all had a good experience at the race and we’ll be back next year. Special thanks to: Mr Kelsey for the T-shirt logo design, Mr. Simpson for keeping ZG safe on the race course while helping push him towards his best 5K time, Mrs. Tansley for announcing the race to all the kids at lunch, and Mrs. Tedesco for being the mastermind behind Team Tyrrell, tying it into summer reading and generating interest at the school. The students really enjoyed participating in the event with their teachers. Below are the race results if anyone cares to see them.
